William R. Sampson

Bill has tried more than 80 jury cases in federal, state, and military courts and tribunals and has been active nationally and internationally in the defense of civil litigation. His class-action and commercial practice involves global corporations in the cyber security, automotive, food and beverage, and retail industries. In Federal Trade Commission v. Wyndham, he represented the data forensic firm that provided the breach response. Bill has presented more than 100 programs on data privacy litigation, trial strategy, and legal writing to businesses, professional associations, and law schools around the country; and he teaches an annual Honors Seminar on leadership at the University of Kansas.
