Brian is a partner at Zimmerman Reed concentrating his practice on complex litigation and class actions, including the areas of Data Security and Privacy Liability, Consumer, Antitrust, Securities, Intellectual Property, and Sports Litigation. He has been instrumental in leading high-profile class action lawsuits including many regarding data breach and data privacy violations that have changed industries and resulted in significant awards. This includes the landmark data breach class action involving the Target data breach, where Brian served as a member of the lead counsel team for financial institutions that achieved the first-ever certified class in a data breach action and resulted in a substantial financial settlement for payment card issuers. Brian currently serves as co-lead counsel for financial institutions in the Arby’s Data Breach Litigation and is a member of the plaintiffs’ executive committees in separate cases involving the Home Depot and Wendy’s data breaches and in In Re Vizio, Inc., Consumer Privacy Litigation.
