Henry is Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Bristol-Myers Squibb in Princeton, NJ, where he is Chief Intellectual Property Counsel responsible for all aspects of IP procurement, counseling, litigation, and policy. He was also Chief IP Counsel at Schering-Plough Corporation, and held prior roles at Johnson & Johnson and in private practice.
Henry is a board member of the Intellectual Property Owners Association, and is currently president of this organization. He is also an active member of numerous IP organizations, including the advisory boards of the NYU Law Engelberg Center on Innovation Law & Policy and the Gibbons Institute of Law, Science and Technology at Seton Hall University School of Law. He is a member of the steering committee for the Coalition for 21st Century Patent Reform and a former member of the Sedona Conference working group on patent litigation best practices. Henry was an adjunct professor at Seton Hall Law School, and frequently presents on intellectual property topics on behalf of academic institutions, law associations, and industry groups.
Henry holds a B.S. in Biology from Haverford College and a J.D., cum laude, from the American University, Washington College of Law.
