Harris Bricken

Steve is an attorney with Harris Bricken, an international law firm with locations all around the world. His practice currently focuses on China. He guides foreign companies both through the theoretical maze of Chinese laws and regulations and practical issues arising from business as it is done on the ground in China. His work ranges from cybersecurity and Internet regulation of foreign business to drafting of basic manufacturing, technology and sales/distribution agreements. Steve has been working as lawyer on China issues since 1984 and lived in China from 2003 to 2019. Steve has lectured in Chinese at the University of Beijing School of Law and the Shanghai Bar Association. He is a frequent speaker throughout the United States and in China (both in English and in Chinese) on various issues relating to International, Chinese, Japanese, and United States law. Steve also is a regular contributor to Harris Bricken’s China Law Blog.
