Jason’s practice is focused on eDiscovery, corporate compliance and information governance. He advises corporate clients and organizations on issues involved in electronic discovery preparedness, planning and execution, as well as information privacy, information governance and data security, GDPR and international data privacy compliance. Jason is a frequent speaker and published authority on cross-border data privacy challenges in litigation and internal investigations, including European and Asian data localization and regulatory requirements. He served as an in-house counsel for Allstate Insurance Company. He has managed and coordinated ESI preservation and productions for several large corporations. Jason is a member of The Sedona Conference Working Group 1 on Electronic Document Retention and Production (WG1), and Working Group 6 on International Electronic Information Management, Discovery and Disclosure (WG6). and an active member of the firm’s internal Global Privacy and Security (GPS) Team; Complex and Class Action Discrimination Practice Group; Health Care Law Team; and Blockchain Technologies Team.
