Peter is the Koret Professor of Law at UC Berkeley School of Law. Professor Menell earned his S.B. from MIT, his Ph.D. in economics from Stanford University, and J.D. from Harvard Law School. Soon after joining the Berkeley Law faculty in 1990, Professor Menell laid the groundwork for the Berkeley Center for Law & Technology, which he co-founded in 1995. Professor Menell has authored more than 100 articles and 15 books, including leading casebooks and intellectual property treatises. Professor Menell has organized more than 60 intellectual property education programs for federal judges since 1998, including an annual four day program. Professor Menell is the lead author of the Patent Case Management Judicial Guide, now in its third edition, published by the Federal Judicial Center and Lexis.
