Tina M. Chappell

Tina is the Director of Intellectual Property Policy for Intel Corporation, where she develops and drives Intel’s worldwide policy for patents, copyrights, and trade secrets. Prior to her current role, she was Senior Litigation Counsel for Intel, handling patent litigations. Tina serves on the Advisory Council of the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. She received dual Bachelor degrees in Computer Science and in Mathematics, and a Master’s degree in Mathematics. Tina received her JD, magna cum laude, from Brigham Young University. She is a former recipient of the Jan Jancin Award for excellence in the study of intellectual property law. Before joining Intel in 2005, she worked with Fish & Richardson, and Knobbe, Martens, Olson & Bear, where she litigated various technologies. In 2007, she received an Intel Achievement Award, and was part of the litigation team that won the 2007 Global Counsel Award.
