Elise is Associate General Counsel for Privacy and Data Security at Fannie Mae. She acts as the primary advisor to the company’s Enterprise Privacy and Information Security business divisions developing relevant policy, procedure and training material concerning compliance with relevant state, federal, and international data protection regulations; and counseling on data breach event response, insider threat management, regulatory oversight, emerging technologies, nondisclosure agreements, and other privacy and data security matters. In her prior role, Elise served as counsel to the Fannie Mae team responsible for administering the Making Home Affordable (MHA) program on behalf of the U.S. Department of the Treasury, handling privacy, regulatory compliance, organizational and personal conflicts of interest, and third-party vendor management matters.
