Ariana specializes in securities fraud and consumer class action litigation as well as complex litigation and is an elected member of the Executive Committee of Milberg LLP. She served as one of the court-appointed plaintiffs’ liaison counsel in the Initial Public Offering Securities Litigation in which the court approved a $586 million cash settlement. Among the thousands of defendants in this coordinated action were 55 prominent investment banks and more than 300 corporate issuers. Ariana has also been retained in complex litigation as Special Discovery Counsel. She is widely recognized as one of the nation’s leading authorities on electronic discovery and chairs Milberg’s E-Discovery Practice Group, comprised of lawyers and technologists. Ariana serves on the Board of Directors, is Chair Emeritus, and continues to be an active member of The Sedona Conference’s Working Group 1 (WG1) on Electronic Document Retention and Production. She also serves on the Advisory Board of Georgetown University Law Center’s Advanced E-Discovery Institute and Bloomberg BNA’s eDiscovery Board.
