We are pleased to announce another new opportunity to become more involved with Working Group 1 (WG1) on Electronic Document Retention and Production. The Steering Committee is forming a Brainstorming Group on Database Principles. The Brainstorming Group will review the 2014 Sedona Conference Database Principles and evaluate what updates might be needed to address the changes in database types, volumes of data, increased discovery requests for information stored in databases, new means of storing and accessing data, and case law related to database discovery. A detailed description of the project and the required application process can be found here. Please note that the firm deadline for submitting an application to participate is July 13, 2021. Important Note: If you are not currently a Working Group member but are interested in participating, you can sign up for membership on The Sedona Conference website. Registered members are eligible to participate in activities of all Working Groups, including WG1. If you encounter any difficulties in registering or have questions about how to sign up for or renew your membership, please contact our office at [email protected] or (602) 258-4910. Thanks again for your interest in WG1. We hope to work with you in the coming months. On behalf of the WG1 Steering Committee, Dave Lumia The Sedona Conference Email: [email protected] |
