The Sedona Conference is pleased to announce the appointment of Claudia T. Morgan as Chair of Working Group 1 on Electronic Document Retention and Production (WG1) and the appointments of Lea Bays, Laura Hunt, and Meghan Podolny to three-year terms on the WG1 Steering Committee, effective January 1, 2024. Claudia takes over as WG1 Chair from Martin T. Tully, who served as Chair for three years and remains on the Steering Committee in the capacity of Chair Emeritus. Lea, Laura, and Meghan were appointed because of their capacity for dialogue and working to reach consensus, subject-matter expertise, significant contributions to brainstorming groups and drafting team efforts, and a demonstrated commitment to the mission of The Sedona Conference. The Steering Committee terms of Rebekah Bailey, Ross Gotler, and Sandra Metallo-Barragan expired in December 2023. We thank them for their commitment, dedication, and substantial efforts in furthering the mission of WG1, and we are pleased to announce that all three have accepted appointments to the Working Group Series Leadership Council. The Council is comprised of former Steering Committee members who serve ongoing roles as goodwill ambassadors for The Sedona Conference, mentors for high-potential Working Group members, and resources for ad hoc projects. We appreciate the continued dedication and support of all the WG1 members who now comprise the Steering Committee in 2023. They are: Claudia T. Morgan (Chair), Lea Bays, Kaleigh Boyd, Kimberly J. Duplechain, Tara S. Emory, Claire Hass, Laura Hunt, Tessa K. Jacob, Robert D. Keeling III, Kelly McNabb, Meghan Podolny, and Maria Salacuse; along with Chair Emeriti Thomas Y. Allman, Kevin F. Brady, Conor R. Crowley, Jonathan M. Redgrave, Ariana J. Tadler, and Martin T. Tully; and Judicial Emeritus Hon. Andrew J. Peck. With my best regards, Craig Weinlein Executive Director
