Laura is a Senior Litigation Counsel for Electronic Discovery for the Department of Justice’s Civil Division. In this position, she provides legal advice and extensive training on defensible e-discovery practices to both Civil Division litigators as well as federal agency counsel. Laura has assisted many federal agencies with building in-house electronic discovery resources with personnel, electronic discovery tools, as well as best practices and procedures. She served on the drafting team for the update to The Sedona Conference’s Commentary on Legal Holds. Laura serves as an Advisory Board Member for the Georgetown Advanced E-Discovery Institute as well as a mentor for the Georgetown E-Discovery Training Academy. She is also an Adjunct Professor of Law at the American University Washington College of Law teaching e-discovery. Laura graduated magna cum laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law.
