Thomas T. Moga
Tom is a partner with the national law firm of LeClairRyan. A registered patent attorney, he is involved in the development of domestic and foreign patent portfolios, licensing and policy development. Tom manages patent enforcement and anti-counterfeiting actions in Asia, including working with local counsel and preparing administrative and judicial documents. He is a frequent speaker on global patent portfolio development and enforcement. Tom worked for an international patent law firm in Taipei, and was a Fulbright Scholar in China where he instructed patent examiners at China’s State Intellectual Property Office. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Fulbright Association, and is member of the Board of Directors of the American Intellectual Property Law Association. Tom is the author of the multi-volume treatise Patent Practice and Policy in the Pacific Rim (Thomson Reuters) and China’s Utility Model Patent System: Innovation Driver or Deterrent (U.S. Chamber of Commerce). |
