Legal executive with over 25 years of hands-on experience in all areas of information governance and data protection (data privacy, cybersecurity, eDiscovery, and Information Governance). I am the Chief Privacy Officer and Senior Vice President, at Aristocrat, a global gaming and technology company responsible for global privacy and data protection.  I started my career founding the Illinois Attorney General’s High Tech Crimes Bureau and Attorney General’s Office and the U.S. Department of Justice Computer Crimes and Intellectual Property Section, and the National Association of Attorney’s General, Computer Crime Fellow. I have investigated and prosecuted all types of Cybersecurity and Cybercrimes.   This experience includes investigations and civil and criminal litigation.  While practicing at Seyfarth Shaw LLP in Chicago I litigated all types of commercial litigation and pre-litigation disputes.  I also represented many clients dealing with government investigations and regulatory and compliance issues.  We received 2023 Information Governance Award, Excellence Award for Outstanding IG Program of the Year, by InfoGov World.
