Elizabeth is the Managing Director of Global Litigation & Investigations at Applied Materials. She currently leads the global investigations team and manages complex litigation around the world, as well as policy and programming related to intellectual property protection and cybersecurity. In addition, she serves as an advisor to Eclipse Ventures, providing guidance to the investment team and portfolio companies on IP strategy and managing offensive and defensive risk at early stages. Prior to joining Applied Materials, Elizabeth was an IP litigator at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, focusing on trade secret, copyright, and patent litigation involving complex technologies. She also clerked in the U. S. Attorney’s Office, Criminal Division, in the Northern District of California. Elizabeth spent her early career in criminal justice policy and programming as a research associate at The Urban Institute. She graduated from Princeton University, and earned her J.D. at Stanford University.
