Elizabeth McBride

Elizabeth is the Senior Director of Global Litigation & Investigations at Applied Materials. She currently manages risk and complex litigation across the country and world-wide, and oversees global investigations, intellectual property protection and enforcement strategy, and competitive intelligence matters. In addition, she serves as an advisor to Eclipse Ventures, providing guidance to the investment team and portfolio companies on IP strategy and managing offensive and defensive risk at early stages. Prior to joining Applied Materials, Elizabeth was an IP litigator at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, focusing on trade secret, copyright, and patent litigation involving complex technologies. Elizabeth was a research associate at The Urban Institute, analyzing and evaluating state and federal justice policy and programming. She clerked in the U. S. Attorney’s Office, Criminal Division, in the Northern District of California. Elizabeth graduated from Princeton University, and earned her J.D. at Stanford University
