Mark is co-chair of the firm's Litigation Group. He helps clients address their legal challenges through a results-oriented approach focused on strategy, efficiency, and service. Mark litigates complex commercial, intellectual property, and antitrust cases. He is the creator of the firm's annual Litigation Forecast, a guide for in-house counsel managing litigation in the coming year. Mark is a member of The Sedona Conference Working Group 12 on Trade Secrets (WG12) and is the vice-chair of AIPLA’s Trade Secret Law Committee. He litigates, speaks, and writes in that area regularly, and is the editor of the firm's Trade Secrets Trends blog and was previously the chair of the Firm Trade Secrets practice. He received a B.A. (1996) from Washington University in St. Louis, and his J.D. (1999) cum laude from Syracuse University College of Law.
