Walter is US/Americas Regional Data Privacy Officer at Deutsche Bank AG, New York Branch, which he joined in January 2014. Prior to this position, he was of counsel at the law firm of Moses & Singer LLP in New York City. In prior positions, he was senior counsel in the Technology and Intellectual Property Group at Citigroup, Inc., and was senior counsel for Legal and Regulatory Affairs at Omnipoint Communications, Inc. (now T-Mobile USA, Inc.). He has also worked in New York City government in technology and telecommunications He has extensive experience in data privacy law and IT/IP legal advisory services in the financial services, telecommunications, and health care sectors. He has also negotiated and advised clients regarding complex business process outsourcing agreements involving data protection and privacy related matters and regulations. He is a graduate of Yale University and Columbia University Law School and is admitted to practice in New York. He is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (“IAPP”).
