Michael serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Redgrave LLP. His diverse 30-year career includes time in the military, law enforcement, and professional services industry. He is skilled in all facets of enterprise security operations, where the areas of information, physical, and personnel security intersect. Michael specializes in the implementation of technology solutions for physical and network intrusion detection, data protection, surveillance, response, and remediation. He has extensive experience translating technology solutions into enterprise policies that mitigate corporate risk and surpass compliance requirements. Michael has developed numerous global corporate policies in information security, HIPAA_HITECH, PII data transfer privacy, disaster recovery, crisis management, and employment screening. He spent 15 years with Covington & Burling, where he was the Director of Information Assurance & Enterprise Security. He has held endorsements as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional, and as a Certified Protection Professional. Michael has taught graduate courses in risk management and protection of business assets for ten years at George Washington University’s Columbian College of Arts & Sciences in the Department of Forensic Sciences as an adjunct assistant professorial lecturer. He is a published author and has been cited by the media on issues related to biometrics, security, and disaster recovery. He received an M.B.A. from Georgetown University in International Business, an M.A. from Webster University in Security Management, and graduated sum cum laude from Park University with a B.S. in Criminal Justice.
