Prof. Karen Sanner

Karen Sanner is a Professor at Saint Louis University School of Law in St. Louis, Missouri. Professor Sanner earned her B.S.B.A and her J.D. from the University of Missouri. She started her legal career as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Missouri, concentrating on administrative litigation, followed by a career in private practice with the law firm of Brinker & Doyen, L.L.P. in St. Louis, practicing civil defense litigation and insurance law. Professor Sanner then joined the faculty of Saint Louis University School of Law in 2010. She teaches legal research and writing, appellate advocacy, trial advocacy, insurance law, and eDiscovery. She is a past member of the Theodore McMillian Chapter of the American Inns of Court and Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers. She is a current member of the Legal Writing Institute (LWI) and the Missouri Bar Technology and Innovation Committee.
