Hon. Donald F. Parsons Jr. (ret.)
Former Vice Chancellor Parsons consults on various corporate and intellectual property matters. He served on the Delaware Court of Chancery from 2003 to 2015. With a focus on alternative dispute resolution, his practice draws on his past mediation experience in various business and IP disputes before the Chancery Court as well as the Federal Circuit. Since rejoining Morris Nichols in 2016, Don has mediated and arbitrated a number of disputes involving IP licenses and IP-related aspects of mergers and acquisitions. He also advises on matters of corporate governance and alternative entities. During his judicial tenure, Don issued hundreds of opinions addressing significant questions concerning corporation law, alternative entities, and other complex commercial matters, including disputes regarding trade secrets and other forms of intellectual property. He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a past president of the American College of Business Court Judges. |
