Ann is the Director of SOLVED eDiscovery Services, a division of Alexander Holburn.  She holds the Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists certification (CEDS) and was part of the team that drafted the ACEDS Canada certification manual and exam.  Ann was elected to the International Legal Technology Association Board of Directors as a Director with Portfolio for the Education Council for the 2025 to 2027 term which takes effect in August 2025. She is currently the Team Coordinator for ILTA’s Litigation and Practice Support Content Coordinating Team and a Member Liaison for Vancouver. Ann is the Past President of the ACEDS Vancouver chapter and is a member of Sedona Canada. She has Certificates in Privacy and Cybersecurity Law and E-Discovery, Information Governance and Privacy from Osgoode Hall Law School, a Certificate in AI & Law from Queen’s University, and a Certificate in Project Management from UBC Sauder School of Business in addition to a BA from the University of Victoria, a certificate in Journalism from Langara College, and paralegal certificates from Vancouver Community College. (Ann worked as a reporter before becoming a paralegal.) She co-created and taught the “Electronic Evidence and Litigation Technology” course in the Paralegal Program at Vancouver Community College. She is the past chair of the BC Legal Management Litigation Technology and eDiscovery Subsection, and the Information Technology Subsection, and has presented at many CLEs, and conferences.
