Lauren is the Director of eDiscovery and eDiscovery Counsel for the NYS Office of Information Technology Services. In her role Lauren provides eDiscovery advice, education, and support to over 50 NYS agencies. She advises on policy, procedure, best practices, and the law with regards to Litigation, FOIL, Labor Relations and Investigations. Lauren entered the public sector in 2017 after several years of nonprofit and private practice, working with NYS government in agencies in various capacities until taking on this current role in 2021. Lauren received her ACEDS certification in 2023 and was a 2024 recipient of the “Up-and-Coming Leader” Award from the NY IT Leadership Forum. She has a Juris Doctorate from Albany Law School and a BS in Business Administration from the State University of Geneseo.
