Gary is a Partner at the international plaintiffs’ class action firm Milberg Coleman Bryson Phillips Grossman, LLC (“Milberg”).  Gary has extensive experience serving as leadership in numerous high-stakes consumer class actions. He has settled more than fifty (50) class actions, the majority of which were privacy cases, as lead or co-lead counsel and recovered over $100 million in the process.  Gary’s privacy practice includes data breaches, ransomware attacks, unlawful collection and/or disclosure of personal information, and violations of privacy statutes and/or laws, such as the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act, Illinois Genetic Information Privacy Act, California’s Consumer Privacy Act, California’s Confidentiality of Medical Information Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, and the EU General Data Protection Regulation. In addition to his privacy litigation experience, Gary is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) and is presently pursuing his Masters of Laws (LLM) in Data Privacy and Cybersecurity from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law.
