Matthias leads the digitization initiative "Freshfields Digital" - a project consisting of a know-how platform and a team of lawyers who offer future-oriented solutions for all questions relating to digitization across all industries.  The main focus of Matthias’ advice includes both court representation in legal disputes and transaction-related advice in the field of technology and consumer goods.  He advises clients worldwide on intellectual property and information technology issues with a view to the European Economic Area.  Thanks to his many years of expertise, he has extensive international experience in the intellectual property sector and its ever-increasing role in the field of digitization.  In addition to German and English, he also speaks French.
