Jill is an Assistant Attorney General at the Colorado Department of Law where she focuses on data privacy and security regulation and enforcement. She is a member of the teams responsible for drafting and implementing the Colorado Privacy Act rules and enforcing Colorado’s data security laws. She also participates in Colorado-specific actions and large multistate investigations as they pertain to data privacy, data breaches, and technology. Before joining the Department of Law, Jill was in private practice advising clients on compliance with U.S and international data privacy and cybersecurity laws, as well as breach response and related litigation.
