Nicole is a commercial litigation partner in the Los Angeles office of Davis Wright Tremaine (“DWT”), where she co-leads DWT’s working group on trade secrets and employee mobility, with particular emphasis on California disputes.  Nicole focuses her practice on employee mobility and trade secret disputes across a variety of industries, including tech, insurance, finance, media, and cannabis, among others.  Nicole previously served as a contributing editor to the third edition of California Trade Secret Litigation and Protection: A Practice Guide to the DTSA and the CUTSA (2013).  Nicole has been recognized as an award winning litigator, including in a 2024 Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in Commercial Litigation and the National LGBTQ+ Bar’s 2024 Best 40 Under 40 Lawyers.  Nicole previously served as a law clerk for the Honorable Milan D. Smith, Jr. of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit (2011-12) and graduated from Emory University School of Law,
