Aaron is the Director of the Arizona Administrative Office of the Courts’ Certification and Licensing Division. The division regulates 10 professions under the Arizona Supreme Court’s jurisdiction. The division investigates complaints, conducts audits, and staffs 11 related boards or committees. Previously, Aaron was the Court’s Communications Director, serving as the media spokesperson and overseeing the judicial branch’s internal and external communications. Before joining the Court, Aaron worked for 16 years with the Clerk of the Superior Court’s office in Maricopa County, ending as Special Counsel and Public Information Officer. He advised the elected clerk and senior management on day-to-day operations and was the Arizona Association of Superior Court Clerks’ legislative liaison. Aaron chaired the Arizona Supreme Court’s Task Force on Countering Disinformation from September 2019 to March 2022 and has worked in state courts for nearly 30 years.
