Originally from Naples, Florida, Kelly attended the University of Utah in Salt Lake City where she studied Political Science and Communication. After receiving her undergraduate degree, Kelly attended Belmont University College of Law, during which she interned as a summer law clerk for the Honorable Justice Jeffrey Bivins at the Tennessee Supreme Court and the Criminal Appeals Division of the Tennessee Attorney General’s Office. Upon graduating law school, Kelly worked as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Judge Frank G. Clement Jr. at the Tennessee Court of Appeals before coming back to work at the Tennessee Attorney General’s Office in the Consumer Protection Division. Kelly currently works on a variety of consumer protection matters and is part of the Division’s Data Privacy team. Kelly holds the CIPP/US and CIPM certifications.
