Heather Kolasinsky


Heather is Senior Counsel for Humana and a member of the litigation and investigations team with a focus on electronic discovery, information governance, and legal operations. Heather spent years as a corporate generalist before concentrating on discovery issues. On a daily basis, she manages discovery matters by developing policies and processes to create cost-effective, defensible discovery practices, and she oversees and provides advice regarding preservation, collection, processing, TAR, and production. Heather has established a cross-functional steering committee to drive information governance and records management. She also consults on business continuity, and resiliency planning. Additionally, Heather guides a team that handles legal operations management including: matter management, billing guidelines, and legal vendor/law firm reviews. Heather has presented at a variety of conferences and is a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel and the Corporate Legal Operations Consortium. She also serves on the Steering Committee of The Sedona Conference Working Group 1 on Electronic Document Retention and Production.
