Tom C. Gricks III
Tom is a managing director at Catalyst and a licensed attorney in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He has been an active general commercial litigator for the past 23 years. He has practiced before both federal and state courts across the United States and is currently admitted to practice in Pennsylvania as well as a number of federal jurisdictions, including the United States Supreme Court. For the past several years, Tom has devoted a substantial portion of his practice to e-discovery, with a particular emphasis on technology-assisted review. He argued the Global Aerospace case before the Circuit Court in Loudoun County, Virginia, which is the first case to permit the use of technology-assisted review over the objection of the opposing party. Tom is a member of The Sedona Conference WG1 and is a frequent speaker on e-discovery and technology-assisted review topics. He has also published a number of articles on e-discovery topics, including coauthoring The Implications of Rule 26(g) on the Use of Technology-Assisted Review, 7 Fed. Cts. L. Rev. 239 (2013).
