Michael A. Morin
Mike has extensive experience in all aspects of patent litigation, and practices both at the trial and appellate court levels. His cases have involved a wide range of technical subjects, including medical devices, software, pharmaceuticals, biologics, and various consumer products. He has served as lead counsel in dozens of cases and has extensive first chair trial experience. He regularly leads litigation teams in complex and significant patent infringement litigations, and has been responsible for overseeing multiple patent infringement litigations in other countries as well. Mike’s trial practice is complemented by his experience before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, where he has argued on many occasions. In addition to his Federal District court practice, he is also very involved in parallel PTAB proceedings at the USPTO, and also advises clients on intellectual property portfolios and strategies, licensing issues, and legal positions and responsibilities. Mike also devotes substantial time to pro bono activities representing disabled veterans and indigent defendants. He is a member of The Sedona Conference Working Group 10 on Patent Litigation Best Practices (WG10). |
