Alitia is the Chief Marketing Officer at Wilentz, Goldman & Sptizer, P.C., responsible for developing and implementing the firm’s strategic business development and marketing initiatives. Before recasting herself as law firm management, she was a partner at McCarter & English LLP and Co-Chair of the e-Discovery Committee. Recognizing how the digital age would revolutionize the practice of law, especially civil litigation, Alitia focused her complex commercial litigation practice in e-Discovery and all aspects of data preservation, privacy and records retention—legal and technical. She sees tremendous synergies between being a lawyer, who understands the complexities of digital information and its effect on the civil discovery process, and being a legal marketing and business development professional tasked with capitalizing on the use of digital information to create strategies for generating new business and strengthening pre-existing relationships. Alitia continues to act in an advisory capacity at Wilentz on matters related to e-Discovery.
