Del has been an in-house litigation attorney for the King County Prosecutor’s Office in Seattle for over 20 years. He began his government career prosecuting criminal cases and has first-chaired over 60 jury trials, including serious violent felonies and domestic violence cases. For the past decade-and-a-half, he has handled civil cases as diverse as his local-government clients, including employment defense, road design, First Amendment, jail condition, and police misconduct cases. He likes trial work and incorporating technology into his practice. In one jury trial a few years ago, his team was able to use ESI evidence to show that the other party had fabricated an alleged whistleblower communication. Del is a graduate of the University of Washington and the University of Chicago Law School. When he’s not working or driving his kids to their activities, he enjoys biking and hiking.
