Emily Fedeles

In her role as VP, Associate General Counsel – Privacy, at Medidata, Emily advises internal and external stakeholders on privacy, data protection, risk, and risk mitigation issues. Prior to her current role, she served as Chief Data Privacy Counsel at Colgate-Palmolive Company, where she was responsible for the establishment and maintenance of a comprehensive global data privacy compliance program for 30 brands worldwide. Before going in-house, Emily was an eDiscovery, Privacy, and Litigation associate at law firms in New York City; Geneva, Switzerland; and Tampa, Florida where she counseled a wide range of clients on issues ranging from discovery management processes, records and information governance, data privacy and security, artificial intelligence, and products liability litigation. She graduated from Emory University School of Law with a JD and from Emory University with a bachelor’s degree.
