Gita Radhakrishna
Gita, hailing from Malaysia, graduated with an LLB (Hons. Lon.) in 1981 and completed her Bar at the Middle Temple in 1982. Thereafter she was called to the Malaysian Bar in 1983, where she practiced as an Advocate and Solicitor for several years. She joined Multimedia University (MMU) in 2005. Whilst at MMU, she completed her MPhil by researching “A Legal Perspective on Internet Banking in Malaysia”, and her PhD on “A Comparative Study on the Admissibility and Discovery of Electronic Evidence in Malaysian Civil Courts”. She currently serves as a Senior Lecturer and Deputy Dean for Research and Innovation at the Faculty of Law, Multimedia University (Melaka campus). Her areas of research interest include electronic banking, commercial law, technology law, electronic evidence, privacy and cyber law. |
