Douglas is a partner in Lieff Cabraser’s New York office, with a practice focusing on consumer and securities class action litigation, including under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (“TCPA”). He represents consumers in the British Airways Fuel Surcharge Litigation pending in federal court in New York where Lieff Cabraser was just appointed Class Counsel, and in numerous TCPA cases, including the In Re: Capital One TCPA Litigation, MDL No. 2416 (N.D. Ill.). Douglas also represents mutual funds and investment firms in direct action securities cases, including in the In re: Petrobras Securities Litigation (S.D.N.Y). He previously worked at Debevoise & Plimpton and clerked for Magistrate Judge Andrew J. Peck. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the New York affiliate of the ACLU (the NYCLU).
