Peter K. Huston
Peter is the Assistant Chief of the Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division Field Office in San Francisco, where he works on both criminal and civil antitrust enforcement matters. He was recently the lead trial attorney in the Division’s criminal prosecutions in the TFT-LCD industry. Prior to joining the Antitrust Division, Peter was a litigation partner at Latham & Watkins LLP where he spent the first 20 years of his career. He was a member of the firm’s Antitrust and Competition Practice Group. While in private practice, Peter focused on federal and state antitrust and unfair competition matters and other complex litigation, and he tried cases both to juries and the bench. In addition to litigation, he represented clients with antitrust issues arising in the merger and acquisition context.
