Start: Thursday, January 26, 4:30 pm End: Thursday, January 26, 7 pm Transitional Edition of the International Litigation Principles KICKOFF EVENT The Sedona Conference and its Working Group 6 on International Electronic Information Management, Discovery and Disclosure (WG6) are pleased to announce that on January 26, 2017, The Sedona Conference International Principles on Discovery, Disclosure and Data Protection (Transitional Edition) ("International Litigation Principles") will be published. Please join us for a special kickoff event at the Dolley Madison House at the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit in Washington, D.C. A distinguished panel of WG6 members will lead a dialogue on: the background of WG6 and the need for a dialogue on cross-border issues; the development of the International Litigation Principles with an analysis of each of the six principles; the practical benefits of the principles for, and views of, key stakeholders involved in cross-border discovery; the development of, and changes reflected in, the Transitional Edition of the International Litigation Principles; and next steps and preview of a more comprehensive update to the International Litigation Principles, expected after the GDPR goes into effect in May 2018.
