The 2017 Annual Meeting of Working Group 11 will be held at the Loews Don CeSar Hotel in St. Pete Beach, Florida, on Monday-Tuesday, January 16-17, 2017. A welcome reception will be held on the evening of Sunday, January 15, from 5:30-8:00 p.m.

Brainstorming groups and drafting teams will be seeking feedback from WG11 members on a number of brainstorming outlines and draft commentaries. These include:

  • Privilege in the data security litigation context
  • Communicating with executives
  • Law firm data security
  • Data security and privacy issues in civil litigation
  • Privacy by design

We have obtained very favorable room rates for WG11 members of $234 per night plus tax. This favorable room rate is available for extended stays, for three nights preceding and three nights following the meeting, subject to standard guest room availability. Our room block expires on Thursday, December 15, 2016, so please register soon while rooms are available. The Loews Don CeSar Hotel opened in 1928 and is situated on St. Pete Beach, 30 minutes from the Tampa International Airport. The hotel is a member of the Historic Hotels of America, the official program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation
